Collecting All The Pink … Kitties.

Having been breeding and collecting KittyCatS! since 2012, I’m pretty proud of my collection of costumed cats – from seasonal collections, to Fancie cats, and special births. While this is not the entirety of my collection of costumed perma-pets, it does represent a selection that spans all of my time in KC thus far.

Many of these cats also represent a lot of important memories, tied to people that I have come to know and love over the years.  The normal sized kitty perched atop the “E” in Jujubeans was a birthday gift given to me by a very dear friend – Sam – who paid quite the pretty penny to present me with her.  Her name is Sugar Coma, and she is a “Kiss Me” from the Love Collection 2011 (KittyCatS’s first Love collection).  Prior to being gifted my Sugar Coma, I used to go spend time at the KittyCatS main store, petting and playing with another “Kiss Me” v2011 Love Collection kitty, owned by Tabby Tophat, named Elton John.  Sam left SL behind many years ago, and we’ve since lost contact, but I will always have Sugar Coma to remember what was a very dear friendship.

In the middle of the photo, perched atop the moon block, are two bright and colorful Fancie toygers.  My beloved sister Kat and I had been breeding Fancies around the same time, and we each went to the store to collect a new Fancie with gems we’d saved up.  When Kat got hers, she got the beautiful vivid pink toyger – which I had been desperately hoping for – and I got the blue – which she had wanted.  We bred our cats out, and when they retired from breeding, we traded.  When Kat passed on the 5th of May this year, I asked if I might have the blue one, Lady Blue, back – so that I could keep Lady Blue and Pink Popsicle together, as furever friends.

To the right of the photo, there’s a white kitty with pastel rainbow spots and stripes holding a ball that was gifted to me by my other beloved sister Tuney.  Sundae Moon was bred from a pair of Nostalgicats, from the Winter Collection of 2023.  The rainbow “Candy Buttons” was my most-desired special offspring possibility, and that she comes from my sister just makes her all the more special.

In the center of the back row, there’s a squinting kitty named Rhubarb Redcurrant, a Hubba Tubba sized Forest Fairy, from the “Cool” Love Collection 2022.  Rhubarb was given to me by my very dear friend Lexi Dagger when she had finished breeding.

It’s probably pretty obvious that KittyCatS are my obsession in SL.  But, almost every single one of these cats is not only a piece of KittyCatS history, but of my own.  They represent more than a decade of my life, and some very key memories.
